National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record

The National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record (NFRTR) is the central registry of all National Firearms Act (NFA) firearms in the U.S. which are not in the possession of or under the control of the U.S. Government. 1 2

The NFRTR includes the identification of the firearm, date of registration, and identification and address of the person to whom the firearm is registered. 3
